lol, I remember this one.  As I recall, it nearly caused me to die of shock before I returned to sanity :).  As fake news goes, it ranks as one of my favorites purely for the knee-jerk reaction it gave me.

Yeah, I think the most affected person was Ikkerens, though, because he was so impatient to see the results XD

Btw I was shocked when I read that Metroid release fake news again. That was 2 days before Metroid II Evolution release, but it's totally random O.O

I updated this and fixed the first 3 dates. I'll also fix the ticalc.org list too. I'm really curious if we really kept the 4000 posts in one topic one, though. I remember it was originally posted as regular news then I made the text brown, but afterward I forgot if I removed it or not...

Update: I may have finally put every existing fake news in the first post, thanks to the old boards being back up. Most added stuff are news from 2005 and 2006, most notably that one news about an anti double-posting sect that I totally forgot about (I think it was in reaction to some animated gif making fun of double posters that used to be quite popular at the time).

The log file is pretty small in size, probably considering the day it was, but it is still an amazing discovery. At first we thought it was fake, but then we noticed the .txt file date in the zip file. We immediately sent the file to some scientists to analyze it, no one could believe it. However some rumors started and people started believing that the hell effectively exist, and that it may have originated from Omnimaga. Per request we also sent the log from June 6th 2006 as well in case it may have some connection with that day.

Most staff are convinced it is a prank, and we will make sure to see if it's fake or not, if it's a real log (which is possible noticing the date), we will come back to you on that subject.
