New coder
« on: September 24, 2013, 08:04:49 pm »
Hey guys. I've been interested in programming games for a while now. I started off small with a version of Tetris I made on my HP calculator from the 80s or 90s. It was my step dads in college and he gave it to me and started teaching me everything he knows. I still only have a very basic understanding of programming and would like to learn more from all of you.   :ninja:

Heya and welcome here. :D

Also how was HP programming way back then? Did the calcs use SysRPL like some of the late 90's calcs? IIRC, you use the stack a lot with that language, so if you still remember how to do so, maybe this could be handy if you ever decide to learn assembly. :) (although there are plenty of alternatives on newer calcs)

Which calc did you use by the way?
